Viaggetto sull'Appennino: a piedi da Piacenza a Rimini

The documentary tells of the trip to discover Emilia-Romagna along the Apennines, from Ottone, a small town bordering Liguria in the province of Piacenza, to the seashore of Rimini. In his trip the protagonist, actor Ivano Marescotti, walks along ridges and valleys, crosses forests, roads, streams. He stops in small villages. Enters into homes. He meets people who decided not to leave the area. Old and new inhabitants of the mountain.

He listens to stories and learns new languages. Curious and passionate, he collects and safeguards fragments of memories and stories told to him, he rediscovers in the faces he knows recognizable signs and traits of his land, he blows up and becomes indignant when he sees degradation and lack of respect towards the land.
