The village of Gorino, in Ferrara province, lies at the end of the Po delta. Only one road arrives in town. Variables are few.
There are the clams, collected by town’s residents.
And the fields, behind the embankments, every day narrower.
The documentary follows the students of a special diploma class dedicated to fishing, exploring the relationship between the boys and the master-fisherman, while new threats – drought, rising sea level – are changing the ecosystem of the lagoon.
