Il lungo, il corto e il pacioccone
There are TV show that have scanned and accompanied us for a lifetime in Italy: The Zecchino d’Oro is undoubtedly one of these. We wondered what was behind this transmission that was born more than sixty years ago. Although the film draws from the historical archives of RAI, it does not want to be a nostalgic operation but rather wants the viewer to understand the organizing machine of this Festival organized by the Antoniano di Bologna and the reasons for its success. With its first edition in 1959, Zecchino d’Oro creates what is considered by all to be the International Festival of the Song of the Child and is considered an event that has become part of the Italian costume and cultural heritage of generations born since the 1960s. The film will tell us, in a kind of backstage, the different phases of the Festival and will help us understand the social function of the Antoniano of Bologna.
