Una regione piena di cinema

The series, wanted by the Emilia-Romagna Region Council for Culture and by the Regional Council Information and Communication Agency, edited by Piera Raimondi Cominesi and Davide Zanza, was created to promote in Italy and abroad directors, film makers, screenplay writers from the Emilia-Romagna region, who tell the great cinematic tradition of the Region.
This monographic series is dedicated to the film directors Liliana Cavani (2008), Michelangelo Antonioni (2006), Marco Bellocchio (2005), Valerio Zurlini (2005), Florestano Vancini (2003) and the screenplay writer Tonino Guerra (2004). The most recent monograph, a journey through the works of the film director Bernardo Bertolucci, was published in 2014.
The monographs contain interviews, artists’ unpublished works, rare iconographic material, bibliographies and filmographies, in depth details of their work in Italian and English.
The series’ design is by Studio Partesotti, Modena.
Falsopiano publishing house has been printing the books since 2006, as well as the distribution in book stores.
