Mediateca’s wealth includes books, magazines, audio-visual works in DVD and video tapes. Most of the documents are directly accessible by the public and can be loaded; a limited portion of the heritage (the special collections, video tapes, back issues of magazines) is kept in archives accessible upon request.

The Library is specialized in cinema, entertainment and mass media, and with 10,000 volumes it is one of the biggest and most important in the region.

The Video library holds a rich collection of audio-visual works with more than 13,000 films in VHS and DVD and 10,000 hours of educational programs.

The Periodical Section collects about 350 Italian and foreign press. Besides the classic magazines on film criticism photo and entertainment publications can be found.
