Viaggetto nella pianura

Viaggetto nella Pianura” is a film-documentary follow up to the “Viaggetto sull’Appennino”. Made in 2012, it tells of actor Ivano Marescotti’s trip, who explores far and wide the flats of Emilia-Romagna, starting from his birthplace, Villanova di Bagnacavallo in the province of Ravenna.

On foot, by car, by cycle, by bus, by train, by bike, carrying along with him books, songs and lengths of film previously shot in the flat land, the trip becomes a passionate search for the deep rooted love that the people of Emilia-Romagna have for their land.
The film is a Movie Movie production in collaboration with the Emilia-Romagna Region, Rai 150° (“La Storia siamo noi” made by Giovanni Minoli) and the cultural association “Gli anni in tasca”. The Fondazione Del Monte di Bologna e Ravenna, the Banca popolare dell’Emilia-Romagna and the Municipalities of Riccione, Rimini and Ravenna contributed to the making of this film-documentary.
